Started in Austin in the 1980s as a Gypsum Management & Supply, Inc. (GMS) company, Lone Star Materials, Inc. took its current name in 2017 after two longtime GMS companies - Hill Country Materials in San Antonio and Rio Grande Building Materials in Laredo - partnered together. Today, we offer the largest inventory of construction supplies around Austin, TX.

Lone Star Materials, Inc. takes pride in the connections we have developed with customers. With more than 60 employees, our dedicated team serves residential and commercial construction customers from five conveniently located building supply yards in Texas:
