GMS Completes the Acquisition of Evergreen Building Products

GMS Inc. (“GMS”) announced today that it has acquired the assets of Evergreen Building Products (“Evergreen”), a leading distributor of EIFS, stone, stucco, and related products with four (4) locations in Washington serving the Pacific Northwest.

John C. Turner, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of GMS, said, “We are excited to bring Evergreen and their exceptional team of product experts into GMS’s family of companies. The acquisition of Evergreen will not only expand our base of residential and commercial customers throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, but also greatly increase GMS’s exterior cladding offerings and market coverage by adding EIFS and stucco products, enabling us to better serve customers across this region.”

Evergreen founder and owner Chris Burrows added, “For nearly 30 years, our success has been built on the dedication of our employees and the loyalty of our customers. Joining with GMS, our people, our culture, and our commitment to service will continue to thrive. This transaction allows us to preserve what makes our company special while gaining the resources and support to grow even stronger.”

Evergreen and its team will continue operating under their current name and branding, while owner Chris Burrows will continue managing the business, operating in close collaboration with GMS’s Northwest Division leadership.
