Tejas Materials has been a proud part of the GMS family of companies since its founding in Houston in 1987. After just a few short years, and a lot of hard work, Tejas opened a second Houston construction materials yard to meet the growing needs of construction professionals across southeast Texas. 

Today, 80+ employees work hard every day to maintain and strengthen the reputation Tejas Materials has built as a trusted provider of the best construction products in Houston, TX and the surrounding area.

Our dedicated team serves residential and commercial construction customers from three strategically placed building supply yards in Texas:
