Tom DuMay, our VP, Risk Management, joined us in January of 2000. Prior to being named VP, Mr. DuMay served as our Director of Risk Management from 2014 to 2022 where he was responsible for insurance procurement, casualty claims administration and litigation management, and field safety operations. Prior to being promoted to Director he pioneered the role of Associate Director of Risk Management from 2000 – 2014 where he managed all property and casualty claims. Prior to joining GMS, Mr. DuMay served as a Senior Claims Examiner for Crawford & Company the world’s largest independent provider of claims and risk management solutions where he held GMS as one of his clients handling their property and casualty claims and associated litigation. Mr. DuMay holds a Bachelor of Science from Southeast Missouri State University as well as a Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA) designation from the American Educational Institute.
