Eric Sundby, our SVP, Chief Information Officer, joined GMS in April 2017. Prior to joining GMS, he served as Vice President of Corporate IT and Shared Services at Genuine Parts Company (GPC) where he was responsible for the overall IT strategy and implementation of security and technology for GPC. Prior to joining GPC in October of 2002, Eric was the National Vice President for Diversified Computer Consultants, where he built a practice from the ground up to sell technical solutions to all levels of technical managers and CIO’s. Eric has also had experience as an Infrastructure Architect and Team Lead for Price Waterhouse and before that he was the Manager of Technical Services for Medaphis Corporation. Eric also served in the United States Army where he received several medals and certificates of achievement exemplifying his commitment to excellence.
